Jack Besford and Agnes Hewit were married at St. George’s Presbyterian Church, Morpeth, Northumberland, on 9^th September 1914. Jack’s brother George Besford was a witness.

Jack and Agnes had the following children:

Dorothy Jane Besford, born at 273 Rosalind Street, Ashington, Northumberland, on 21^st September 1915.

David Besford, born at 273 Rosalind Street, Ashington, Northumberland, on 31^st August 1919.
