Koni Besford is a DJ and producer.

He was born on 31 January 1988 in Albania, and moved to the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy as a child.

He began his career in the area’s discos and nightclubs, starting to DJ at the age of 16 for friends’ parties. Besford’s first “real” gig took place in September 2005 at Central Park Disco Pub in Scandiano, in the province of Reggio Emilia. Around the same time he also spent several months broadcasting a show on Radio Luna.

Koni defines his musical style as “alternative house electro”, with commercial vocals accompanied by innovative electronic sounds.

In 2009 he began composing his first alternative electro tracks, remixing highly successful pieces with unusual mash-ups.

In summer 2011 Koni was the resident DJ at the Extra Club in Lloret De Mar, Spain. He has played with many international DJs including Benny Benassi, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Tiësto, Afrojack, Chuckie and Vato Gonzales.

Koni Besford’s artist page on Spotify describes him as follows:

Koni Besford is an eclectic and courageous electronic music mixer and designer, as well as being an amazing stage performer. His music, for the most part of a dance style, has received important prizes and acknowledgments of all respect from all over the planet.
He had the stubbornness to make himself known internationally, playing some of the most exclusive parties in the world, and for the most influential people on the planet.
Among its strengths, we find that of knowing how to best adapt to the musical situations in which it presents itself, offering a DJ set and a performance that is absolutely unique of its kind.
