Chollerton

Chollerton is a village in Northumberland on the River North Tyne, about 6 miles (10 km) north of Hexham. Its church of St Giles was built around the twelfth century, and four Roman columns taken from the fort at Chesters stand in its south aisle.

Besfords were married and buried at St Giles through the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
