Hexham
Hexham is a market town in Northumberland on the south bank of the River Tyne, 25 miles (40 km) west of Newcastle upon Tyne. Hexham Abbey began as a monastery founded by St Wilfrid in 674, and the present church is largely of about 1170 to 1250.
