Mary Lyons (1919-)
Mary was the daughter of Daisy Besford (1894–1969) and William Lyons (1893–1968). She was born on 16th May 1919 at 72 Milburn Road, Ashington.
Ashington
Ashington is a town in Northumberland, England. It was once a centre of the coal mining industry. The town is 15 miles (24 km) north of Newcastle upon Tyne, and bordered to the south by the River Wansbeck.

William married Daisy Besford on 13th June 1918 at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Morpeth.
Elizabeth Mary Dixon (1901–1969)
Emily Maud Carter married George Besford on 20th November 1920 at Gateshead Registry Office. They had one child, Henry, in 1921.
Irene Besford (1923–2018)
Alice Dodds married Tommy Besford in 1925. They and their children emigrated to Australia in 1928.
