Besfordwood Lee Brockhurst Shropshire isn't really a street, it's a place. At one time, up until at least the mid 1800s it was a village but over time it has become abandoned and it now just a farm and a few houses. It's named for an area of woodland, Bessford Wood.
My ancestors are from there but they left in the late 1830s and I have been researching the history of the place. I am wondering if there might be a connection to Besford House in Shrewsbury as the 2 places are only a few miles apart but I haven't yet found a connection yet.
