Thomas Besford (1833–1914)

Horton is a former parish in Northumberland about 2 miles (3 km) west of Blyth, on the south side of the River Blyth. It was absorbed into Blyth in 1920, and little of it survives beyond two farms, Horton Road and the parish church of St Mary the Virgin.
