Harry Hornsby (1909–1992)
Henry Charles Deamster Hornsby was a wireless engineer and amateur radio enthusiast, who served with the Royal Air Force in the Middle East.
Cramlington
Cramlington has been developed as a new town in Northumberland since 1964. It is 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Its history was mostly rural until the early 19th century, when coal mining began with several mine shafts in the immediate vicinity. There as a notable explosion in 1813 at Collingwood Main Colliery.
John Besford (1879–1946)
