Robert Besford (1898–1899)

Robert Besford was the son of David Besford and Mary Besford (née Turnbull).

Robert was born at Chevington Colliery on 13th June 1898. He died on 28th May 1899. His death certificate gives the cause of death as “Stomatitis [inflammation of the mouth], Convulsions, and Rickets”.
