George Besford (1680-?) had two sons:

John Besford (1717–1788), born at Snitter and baptised at All Saints’ Church, Rothbury, on 9th June 1717.

George Besford (1719-?), born at Snitter and baptised at All Saints’ Church, Rothbury, in July 1719 (the precise date is not legible in the Old Parish Register).
