Born on 26th March 1926 at 312 Sycamore Street, Ashington.

The 1st Bonegilla Scout Troop was formed by Senior Constable Alf Besford (bottom right)

Officer in charge of Bonegilla Police Station

Bonegilla troop helped youth settle into area, Wodonga & District Historical Society

    I am Alf’s daughter from his 1st family and now live in London. I have more photos which I can make available of both Alf and of Thomas, my grandfather, if anyone would like to see them.
